There were just a few more bears they needed to kill dead
Surely there won’t be any more bear-stops at the highs, right?

OK it's over. Sun back out. Boy, that 15minutes was like the longest winter EVER. Makes you wonder how the pioneers survived.... I was looking around the house wondering who I was going to eat first.
John Boehner’s office is circulating Charles Krauthammer’s column today, which argues that Republicans should call Obama’s sequester “bluff” and make no concessions whatsoever in revenues to avert the sequester. This is still more confirmation that the GOP’s explicit position is that allowing the sequester to happen — which Republicans themselves say will gut the military and tank the economy — is preferable to compromising at all with Dems, and that they will use the threat of disaster to force a solution that averts the sequester only by giving Republicans everything they want.

I wish the Bay Area had your weather....then it would be perfect...

Trader Girl - You are down the peninsula where the weather is WAY better than in the city!!! But I agree. We often joke about what Real Estate prices would be if Bay Area had So Cal / San Diego weather (and toss in a nice beach or two)
Trend line support. The chart so far still is bullish biased.

Due to Central Bank Stimulus and other factors the last two bull market legs have changed. They have extended far beyond the point where normally they would reverse. I noticed on my BPSPX optimum bull market exits were indicated when the Coppock Curve dipped below zero and exits were timed by the SPY CCI 20 back testing & breaking the 100 line (see dash, dot dot red lines).
I wonder if this time will be the same, if so we are a long way from that point with the Coppock Curve currently over 10.

Tg, How dare you?! Bay Area is perfect!
Lived in Bay Area whole life until 3 yrs ago. Been homesick for three years. Food is terrible down here. People are SUPER nice, though.
I'm acclimating: have learned to use the word "harsh" in daily conversation without snickering, and am considering buying a pair of aviator sunglasses.

I moved out of the city because there was never any warm weather...couldn't take it any more...our Real Estate would be OFF the hook even more than it is now if that were the case...New York would not have a chance....
