cobra your overall feeling is that we are testing the lows 110 104 ? CONSIDERING THAT SEP IS REALLY BEARISH ON SEPT makes it more probably in your opinion? we're going to breakdown below Aug 9 lows, but for now, my bias is up for today. One more push up today after this dip? Does it always end with...
11:07 a.m. Monday ET, 12:23 a.m. Tuesday Tokyo] Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) said it has no plans to use a concrete pump engine to place a mixture of mortar and water into the containment vessel and spent nuclear fuel pool at the No. 4 reactor. Instead, the pump would be used to pour only water....
After OEX week, bearish next week? Feel like they wanted to keep it as high as possible. Agreed that we'll revisit the low soon. I'll probably show you what happened after a red OEX week in the weekend report if I found some edges. Thanks Cobra, looking forward to the weekend report! Have...
How much faith (fund allocation) do you have in solar stocks? My trading thesis now is simple, long solar, if have extra money, short CCJ. But I don't have extra money, so I am only long Chinese solar stocks: JASO,SOL,LDK,TSL. Plus WNR. If market rallies, then solar will go with them; if market tan...

Didn't see the real panic, so I think we need to see a panic selling before any strong rally. Then again, if nuclear scare in Japan turns out to be less than feared, then this could be a bottom. Judge by yesterday's market action, my read is, we're not at the bottom, more to come. BTW, the Chinese s...
I added LDK, WFR,JASO,TSL,SOL. All based on the impact of Japan's nuclear impact on the market long term, plus solar stocks are oversold, due for a bounce.
I heard that Japanese investors will sell shares in U.S. stock market and bring it home to rebuild, plus Japan's market tanked, U.S. should have a short correction as well. What do you guys think this view?
One strange thing today, Chinese social media(SINA, SOHU,etc) up big, ag stocks(MOS, POT) down in a very strong market. Usually they are in sync.
I have a few MOS naked puts. Long term, if we don't have double dip recessions, ag stocks should go higher, so many people to feed....
Don't fight this idiot uncle benny. The Fed's purchase of $7.657B in Treasurys of $29.504B offered - including more than $7B worth of last month's seven-year note - hasn't lifted the government bonds today, with yields +0.03 across the board. The 10-year note yields 3.544%. SPX Third touch is a cha...
Thanks balance for your reply.
Sold 1/3 of SINA for a nice profit. For the rest, I sold March's ITM (85) covered calls.
Also sold ITM(80)covered call on SOHU I bought yesterday.
Wow, glad I didn't sell SINA yesterday, now it closed one gap. Still another gap above 90s, might be too greedy to look for that this push up. From Wolfe chart, is it time to reduce some? Balance or anyone else, if you guys can take a look, greatly appreciate your inputs!
RE: sina, simple, like I said yesterday, the pressure is on the upside. http://www.screencast.com/users/BalanceOpt/folders/Default/media/e7b3d7ee-f176-4c3e-aa49-68e55b73fed1 Thanks, balance, I did close the SINA calls for a nice profit yesterday(scared), keep the SINA position, think it has more ro...
