It’s Friday. With a long weekend coming up it’ll be interesting to see if anyone wants to hold short-term positions through the weekend.

Some pretty good selling the last few days. Plenty of little surprises. Although I wouldn’t be surprised to see today end in the green?

Don’t forget, we have the 10 year tips auction at 10:00 my time here in California. 18 billion … just a little more than the 20 year auction yesterday. Market up 0.39 at the moment seems to be shrugging it off. But auction could be meaningful … or not?

Still haven’t cracked 6000. Seems so close yet so far away. We still have the looming ES gap right below us that could easily be filled by the middle of next week.

The market seems to be in a precarious position. 6000 is my line in the sand. Anything above there and I think we go much higher before we can see much lower. Nice little spike up last night. See if it acts as support today before Powell speaks.
