In summary, i expect this rally to fail... soon , then a marginal new low below 3639, then the big rally everybodys longer term indicators are calling for. As always be advised i could always be completely wrong! 8-) :o

SPY daily. Price action. It's been a tough market for 6 months. But there have been some possible plays, of a few days duration.

For about a dozen years, this trader has paid attention to the writings of Tom Bowley, at StockCharts. He is usually optimistic about the market, imo. I am neither optimistic nor pessimistic about the market; I just trade the charts, long or short, using a variable combination of time frames and indicators. Tom's most recent article was about the market and the VIX.

Excerpt ...

Edit: I see Pasta Boss referenced Bowley's article above.

$AAII bull - $AAII bear rebounded from the panic level just when the market may have started another leg down (maybe). Maybe not a good timing?

RIBBON
MEDIUM TERM:
It's a bounce with a higher low, but PRICE must be above ALL ribbons to get a medium-term buy signal (green vertical lines)

Your threads were all over the site.

Your Kool's Tools had a disclaimer, similar to the site disclaimer.

Kool's Tools had a User Agreement.

No other person seemed to be the owner. You seemed like the dominant personality over there.

Any enquiries are directed to mypivots.com. The ownership is not revealed.

That site has a paid advisory (for a fee).

It seems you stopped posting there around the time you resumed posting here. That site looked like it had become almost dormant (very little activity).

No worries. I had never heard of H W Steele.

Income seekers claim they love dividend stocks; lets put them to the test.
Here is a performance chart YTD of some of the "dividend payers" ETFs

Turns out they are all outperforming SPY this year .... with SPHD and SPYD being the best performers.
While SPY is down -19.14% YTD (as of Friday's close), the best dividend performers, SPHD and SPYD, are +0.3% and -1.25% respectively
Screenshot 2022-07-04 130849.jpg
SPHD = S&P-500 high dividend low volatility ETF, average daily volume (over 60 days) is 2 million shares per day

SPYD = S&P-500 high dividend ETF, average daily volume (over 60 days) is 3.8 million shares per day.

Other dividend payers all have less than 1 million shares per day volume.

ps: THANKS JFR
