Now we're at a critical time: either we go much much much much higher from here while VIX making new all time low, or the top was already in!

Nothing to trade today, so I'm looking at the long term SPX chart which shows the significance of support in the 1280/1295 area. Check also the close up of the same chart:

A new floor on the VIX needs to be established as this video was pointing out on Friday. Tomorrow I believe new contracts trade and we should see more accurate movement, i think.

Looking for the 50MA to hold as it did on Friday or we probably will retest 1320.

Phantom bars are often sell levels, meaning "we're taking it here, sell here", so be careful when the level is reached.

From my post end of yesterday.

Ok,

Phantom bar,

High 1313.1
close 1304.5

8.6 points difference

1304.5 - 8.6 = 1295.9

What was the low of the day on the SPY anywhere near 129.59?

Possibly signaling that the low of the day was already in at 129.5, or that the high will be at 131.3 tomorrow. Lets see if this plays out.

The interesting thing about this downtrend is that the bears are the ones seemingly exhausted and annoyed, yet the market continues to slide along with the VIX (fear). Could be meaningful, could not.
