Cobra,

don't you think volume doesn't seem enough to support such a relevant breakout?? :?

still no idea what the market is doing. judging by pink and green, I'll assume it's not bull friendly?

take a look at SPY chart below, you see solid rise here? It's simply jump and jump. today's only one solid white bar assume we close here. I don't think the recent rebound has any solid bases. but again nowadays, who cares?

That's what happens when the market run on paper money created out of thin air, literally. Volume? Who needs volume when you have Benny at the printer. I really think we'll hit 1400 or more over the next few weeks.

Maybe this has more to do with the rebalancing of the NDX. AAPL, NFLX (earnings as well), and AMZN all will take a hit in the rebalancing. Look at INTC, DELL, CSCO and MSFT today--all plus 2%. If you have to sell lots of AAPL (- almost 1%) it is probably easier to sell into strength. Just a lot of shuffling going on right now. Here is a link showing projections of the "winners" and "losers": https://indexes.nasdaqomx.com/docs/NDXS ... tation.pdf

Reminder. Tomorrow is a 3 score so if in fact a top, it may take a day or two to process.

Zebra,

It represents potential turn dates. The higher the score, I believe, the more likely a turn in the other direction. I visit another site that had today as a turn date also...meaning today should be a high, and the next few days should sell off. And with the FED, it could move quite a bit.

There is a key turn date today, and since it coincides with an up market and the Fed day tomorrow, I think we are at an EXTREMELY important turning point in the market. Surprise from the Fed?
