06/26/2021 Weekend Update

Post by Cobra »

Up 1 week, the next week has 76% chances to make a higher high so bulls should be fine as it means we'll at least have another all time new high the next week.

Al Brooks seems bullish again:

Targeting 4,400, 40% chances. More likely will pullback before the target. Bears have 30% chances in the next few weeks.
Even though 15 - 20% pullback this year, it's just a range, after several months in such a range, bears have only 40% chances to make a bear trend.

GDP came in at 6.4 percent for Q1
Now they are estimating 8-10 percent GDP for Q2 :o

SPX is the weksel in history of CFD existance since 1984 (negative divergance on MACD with new ATH for some time) :) So probably distribution is in progress and spx will get under 2200 points (last bottom)

The next 3 trading days will decide how the monthly bar looks like. Bears still have chances to make a doji even red because so far the month up only 1.9%. Bulls want more up and close near the high of the month signaling more up the next month.

From"It is what it is department" Bullish and overbought. many negative divergences but that can drag on for a while longer, the one combination of indicators that stood out is B% >1 plus negative D on $BPSPX, as shown here in the last couple times. side way to down is to expect. market move higher Monday will only created more overbought condition for short term trade. CCI(21) is at 190.31, a reading over 190-200 on a daily CCI (21) will give me the reason to find excuse to sell. up side to down side R/R is very much favoring on the bearish camp.

Accu/Dist also suggests distribution short term.

Humor. Many, many know this bit of advice from Will Rogers.

"Only buy stocks that go up. If they don't go up, don't buy them."
