Anyone have a take on what the ECB rate hike means for US Markets tomorrow?

I'm sick of 1332, is tomorrow's rate decision what the market is waiting for?

FOR INSTANCE... todays low 133.12 and that bar had its high at 133.28(this is a very conservative one bar projection.. the bare bones minimum expected) thats a move of .16 and 1.618x.16= 25.8,call it .26. so add that to the start of the move(133.12) and 133.12 plus .26=133.38. I posted that first resistance would likely be 133.38 and BINGO! A DECLINE AFTERWARD..GO BACK AND LOOK!.. then 2.618x .16=.42 and 133.12plus .42=133.54! NOW IF YOU TAKE THE ENTIRE INITIAL MOVE 133.12 TO 133.38 thats a move of .26 and 1.618x .26=.42 and add to the start of the move=133.54! the 2.618 = 133.80.. theres a lot more to it ,but that is the bare bones basic theory.

Koolblue, I'm impressed by your calculations. I tend to apply visual tools, I guess it's force of habit:

This is COOL![/quote]..imho, there is an exact mathematical structure to the markets(or in reality, the physics of the way our brains are wired and indeed the whole universe) that we are only beginning to understand! Credit Prechter for hittting on the fib sequence and its importance in life! Unfortunately, i never could use Elliot waves in trading as it is too subjective (too many alternate counts) and fib retracements dont seem acuurate real often.. but the proprietary extention theory i laid out(i call it Kools Tools) is the single best thing ive found in 25 years of being a student of the markets...like i say there is a lot more to it, and several rules but in a nutshell it works on any market, any time frame and can be a useful tool to compliment whatever method one is currently using... :ugeek:

helpppp . getting crushed on some longs today :(
..That all depends on your timeframe .. if your holding for a few days you should be short from 133.80-134.00 for a short decline.. I am a very short term daytrader and im long here from 133.15 , exited half at 133.37 ,looking for exit of 133.50(expecting 133.54) on the rest. ;)
and we have a BINGO!!! out at 133.50 on the second half!

I do want to caution all my new friends here tho: my method is no holy grail! There are lots of things to know, for instance when you hit a projection and turn, will it be .10 or 10.0!?! etc.. but again it can be useful to add to your existing arsenal!

some fib here. The rebound is not strong, but hard to say because I see a possible double bottom here.
