Just had to rebuild my profile on my PC here at work. Turns out when you do that you lose all your charts in freestockcharts.com. Not like I had dozens (over 100 maybe?) of hours into creating those.

try this:
freestockcharts
top left > file
>open layout
then click whatever you named your layout

if that doesn't work, email freestock and ask them HOW to retrieve your charts
they are usually helpful

Thanks a ton Al that got back some of them. Unfortunately I have not saved my layout recently. In my defense this was an out of the blue type of problem today so I'll be saving my work in the future!

I have used that program in the past Free-Worden. I thought the same that I had lost some of my profile for the program.
In the past I had logged onto my laptop and saved the profile.
That's all I needed to do was log onto the Laptop again and transfer the profile back to my main computer.
But like Al mentioned calling Worden could save a lot of time.
I had to do that with Stock-Charts once. Call and have everything pushed out to my Stock-Charts profile.

Dude I've spent the past 2 hours resetting settings I had long forgotten about. Just getting my open tabs back in Firefox was a huge relief as I probably have 40+ open.
Looking at it now I think it may be good some of those charts got wiped. Kind of like spring cleaning!

I'm neither bull nor bear, but in this market, being called bull biased, not entirely a bad thing as it means I stick to the chart since I really really don't believe this crazy bull therefore if you think I'm bull biased, that's actually a praise because it means I hide my emotion very very well.

Unfortunately my other profiles are nowhere near as comprehensive as what I had. I've been working diligently and have recreated the crucial ones. I have also saved a couple of times already. I've learned my lesson!

What do people think about a double top if it can get below....x?

Generally I won't count on reversal patterns because they only have one chance to be right. Unlike continuation pattern, they have only one chance to be wrong.

it's like blindfolded asking to catch a long stick. You have only one chance to catch exactly the end of the stick but you have many many chances to catch anywhere in the middle of the stick.

testing ascending triangle support. if most people agree with the pattern then we'll see rebound here otherwise it would mean most people don't agree the pattern I see. that's how pattern develops actually.

While VIX has been with the bulls, the tick (middle chart) has left a lot to be desired today.
Note: This is a 3 minute chart.
I read the weak tick as a sign of distribution.
Bulls may lose some mojo if they can't get a good looking tick into the close.
Oh and now vix is creeping up a bit.

Cool stuff Al. I do love that TICK chart. Who knew putting it in elder bars would make it so appealing?
