WoW, I actually got as buy signal on SPY after I got to work! Usually these buy signals occur on my commute and have already sold for a profit by the time I get to my desk.

Third time at this level this morning. Thinking it needs to test overnight (Europe) lows and if they fail the Asian session low.

Overnight ES low 42.25. European session early support at sae level as late day US RTH around 43.75 . Could we be gearing up for a third leg down?

I almost posted a snide little remark yesterday about how the major pension funds could not possibly be so stupid as to rebalance into a holiday thinned market. Well here is RBC saying that is exactly what is happening with a fraction of normal volume and only the C grade traders left working to handle the transactions. The one thing they say that rings true is that all the foreign buyers at the treasury auction yesterday managed to put the hurt on the leveraged shorts.
