So yesterday it was the tweet on tax change that sent the market up. Today I thought the lunch hour run up was rigged but I was (as my children will tell you) simply uninformed and out of the loop. Clearly Obama's Wall Street Bank enforcer leaving the Fed 5 years early was the reason.

So I think it is safe to say that this market is running on pure politics. I think something was written down a long long time ago about what happens to those who live by the sword and in my experience you can substitute politics or government.

i'm always looking for 3 standard deviations away from the 50ma, for "extremely extreme," but we so seldom get there...
