Pros were saying in print this morning that we are awaiting the tax plan talk. An I Bank said that based on what they had seen nothing will pass congress.
I do know that the API inventory was not good so if the DOE report this morning confirms a massive gasoline build and an increase in crude inventories it will put pressure on the hedge funds. To be a broken record, the only reason oil is as high as it is right now is the massive new buyer that entered the futures market last winter, Hedge Funds. Unfortunately for them everybody and their cousin knew that in this time zone their resolve would be tested by one or more negative weekly inventory reports. This could be that 'all in' moment at the poker table. Or not.

Last night:
According to Zerohedge: “It appears the bears have almost fully "thrown in the towel" as short interest in the US equity market's most liquid ETF [SPY] has tumbled to its lowest since May 2007.”
“In fact, the last time shorts were this dis-spirited was just as the S&P 500 began its rounded top and freefall from a previously "permanently high plateau."
According to Al Dente: This is misleading, as the market kept going up for a few months until the big final top in October 2007.

this plays well..sell in june july ,august, sept? My guess is the budget/govt shutdown issues swing into full gear early fall - Congress will pass some stopgap bill to fund the government through the rest of fiscal year 2017. The government's fiscal year ends on September 30, 2017, and the new fiscal year will begin on October 1, 2017. some fireworks to celebrate the peak?

On IWM: Try testing out a few different moving averages to smooth the STO more
This one is 34-40 but others work fine, depending on yr style

Thanks, I'll have to look at it. Maybe able to use it as a sell guide. As long as the EMA on STO is moving up, the direction is higher!
