In the ES only 5's and zero's have options strikes. Thus the move from 3385 to 3390 this morning was moving up 1 strike. With all that premium on the line (and unlimited fresh funding from Janet Yellen's acolytes at the Fed for the market makers) it is no wonder the tail is wagging the dog (derivatives are driving the market).Al_Dente wrote: "With the surge in call buying, their total outlay has exceeded more than $7 billion in premiums paid each of the last two weeks.
