Intraday is way overbought. if bulls can hang up here and go sidewways it's the real deal. for now the up side is limited and I am selling the top with tight stop. the momentum traders are in control so far.

The NYMO cycle is up and approaching the upper turn zone.
The upper turn zone is not as telling as the lower turn zone.
Sometimes a tag precedes reversal. Sometimes it is just a breadth thrust kicking off a considerable up trend.
If we get the tag, it is time to pay attention.

There is a huge price divergence at the moment.
NYMO is up big but price has not yet broken the local highs. Hmmm.
This is kinda bearish as price rules.
Perhaps today's rocket launch or after OPEX will align price with NYMO.
In any case, something is going on under the surface.

There is an up gap a little over 20 handles higher that looks like it wants to close.

I remain short an SPX runner with a BE stop.
I have long setups starting to bake in the oven but won't be ready for another day or two.

Breakout to a new day high with good looking bull bar then it's an uptrend day. My guess is the most up part was over for today, will be boring till the close.

Market is responding to Bank earnings, ALL BEAT
I color this red but for whatever reason the market thinks it's green:
10/13 Fed says it could begin ‘gradual tapering process’ by mid-November … according to minutes from the September meeting,..
the Fed would reduce the $120 billion a month in bond buys slowly…. probably would start by cutting $10 billion a month in Treasurys and $5 billion a month in mortgage-backed securities. The Fed is currently buying at least $80 billion in Treasurys and $40 billion in MBS… The target date to end the purchases should there be no disruptions would be mid-2022. [CNBC]

Second push up, counter trend is a little pain in the A, so don't do this at home, leave it to the crazy. 61.8% is the most bears can hope for if the mover were to be a success.

Going for the 4th push, the bulls are marching on the sky is only the limit at this point
