Since 1960, the cost of a baseball game, the movies, and a trip to Disneyland have increased at 2-3x inflation — and families have to work up to 2x as many hours to afford them today.

If you want an eye-popping number look at the price increases for annual passes. Everyone we know used to buy passes and go out there once a month or so with the kids, sometimes for just a few hours after school. But with today's pass prices you'd have to go almost every weekend to break even over the ticket price.
Now we just go when friends come into town and it's about $1200 for the day for a family of 4.
Glad it was affordable when our kids were young. Got lucky.

This is the Micro crude oil contract. Contract is 100 barrels, financially settled (in case you screw up)
Tick is $.01 per barrel or $1.00 per contract
Margin was around $600 per contract, don't know what the current requirement is from the NYMEX

The three weeks of building gasoline inventory the media is calling demand destruction have not impressed the traders at all. The President's trip to Saudi didn't do too much damage either.
