Triple top has been rare so more likely it's an ascending triangle therefore bias is up.

swing setup: no change, no dip to buy, dips will be bought.

Intraday: We have new swing high, it is bullish bias, slow range day, should be taking up higher and fast but it is kind of slow day today.

Internals: the negative mood from yesterday, doesn't have a follow through. will see how the day closed. peace!

It seems that spike was the response to the 10 year treasury auction.

This is why the Macro guru sketching their heads if you look at the yield curve. 2/5 year is worst than in 2007-2008, watch the $VIX once the fear hits the market it will not be pretty. for day traders, we need big range, the more volatility the better. traders doesn't care about this stuff, but in general, it's very dangerous time in investing world.

4815 is supposed to be the take and hold objective according to the volume profile experts. The right CPI reading tomorrow would allow the market to move on up into the 4850 area. We will find out an hour before the regular open tomorrow, so be prepared!

Why bother to risk when you can get short term CDs yield so much higher and no risk.

Just a comment on chart styles. This is my attempt at a five minute equivalent using tick bars. My point is that I have it set to not use equal spacing. The chart scrolls at a fixed rate and the bars paint as the trades happen. Makes it very clear when something is happening.

That last spike did not track to a newsfeed item. the earlier spike matched the 10 year treasury auction results.

Same chart only the bars are 1/3 the size. Makes me feel like I can see the algos firing off.

Got rejected at all time high. Someone has been waiting there to sell. Until now the market finally makes some senses to me.

Up off the EMA 20.

Up off the Pivot, through R1, all the way to R2, where it pauses and pulls back.

ES 5 minutes.

Halfway through the regular hours trading day, it lifts off.

Positive day for the bulls.
