Ginormous sell-volume-ratio spikes like today’s (bottom panel) recently preceded a bottom by 1-3 days (except December, not on this chart, it took 4 days of selling and bouncing to bottom).
[EDIT: in every case (out of just the few examined here) there was AT LEAST one more day of lower lows]
Short to medium term: Technically the bull can survive until 203.50ish drop-dead-stop-out-gone.

Perhaps today's action is more OPEX jiggery pokery than folks dumping.

Same chart stretched out to one year
The earlier volume-ratio spikes were:
July = spike was followed by 5 days of lower lows and bounces
September = spike was followed by 15 days of lower lows and bounces
December = spike was followed by 4 days of lower lows and bounces
The most recent spikes, as mentioned previously, “preceded a bottom by 1-3 days “
In all cases there was, at minimum, one lower low following the spike
In most cases there were shallow interleaving bounces

Just saw some people on StockTwits go long SPY at 209 on full margin. I don't think this will be a good day for them.
