Welcome aboard!

I think most people here don't care many months, they just want short a top then cover in a day or two.

that's really strange, the liquidity inflow suddenly spiked since Wednesday. Don't know what's going on, someone knows something really good ahead of us. Just because I saw the liquidity wasn't strong enough, so I was so sure the top could be around. Now all of sudden everything changed. :o
I read that the rally into early July was caused by $76 billion pumped into the mkt by the Fed. which was the next largest amount compared to Oct 2008. A collapse followed:
Hi Cobra,

Where did you get this long term liquidity flow? It looks so good. Thanks.

Do not forget! Today is Jan OpEx and the bernank lets Da BoyZ engineer the numbers “as necessary“…
This is a also reflected in the lack of coordination between indices…to which other factors contribute as well: IBM , GOOG…etc…
Therefore, I am trying not to over-interpret some erratic moves today…

1 week on the sea, 4-5 days for loading, clearance, etc.

Hi Cobra,

The Monthly long term impulse is 2nd green. Shall I start buying some stocks in 401K? Last time, you said we should wait for a while to see. Is it ok now? Many thanks.

Last time, I said we should wait 5 days because if the first 5 days in a new year close in green, then 86% chances the year will close in green.

and this timing you are noting (which more or less the move over 1290 to 1305 or something of that sort in spx). but there is no reason why 1376 to 1340 won't hold first time someplace in there.

i don't know about everyone else but i would argue that we could easily go to 1500-1600 and still in the end be in a bear market like the 60s to 80s event. but any move up usually has pullbacks at least to the daily 20 ema at some point. so i have no clue about final top--i certainly hope they take it to 1500 and drop it to say 700 to 600 area--that would really build a nice base for some sort of longer term bull. and the move down would imply some sort of change going on which is what is missing here so far (in my opinion)

good luck with the site--there are a lot of good people here.

CNBC: An IIF spokesman has confirmed that there will be no press conference today.

So I guess they will continue the talk next week.
