I smell new LOD, let see how IWM react here. if failed it will drag everything down with it, not to the sell but lower. me thinks.

IWM must hold a support here or I will have to sell it.

This is a very very interesting comparison regarding the VIX and BKX... the VIX fell through support in '03 around the same time BKX successfully broke out of resistance. The VIX broke thru that same support around the same time BKX broke down through the same trend line it broke out of in '08. In the last two years, BKX has hit that resistance twice at the same time VIX hit a new support line. Now we are there again....

The action on ES seems so slow to me the past three months that I am wondering if my data feed is accurate or complete. Trades can be 5 to 10 seconds apart here in the middle of the day. Just seems strange given the bid and ask sizes can be 1200/1200 contracts. Is everyone else experiencing the same? I am using IB for feed. Thanks.

On CL, I would like to buy at pivot/blue channel @ 106.30 or sell at fork/red channel @ about 108.15... but nothing happens...pffffffffffffff

Thanks
Don't quite agree with you Cobra: you and I yes, we don't know if aapl is a short or not, so we have to wait for a non-confirmation of today's high resp. we have to wait for a lower high. But we don't know Mr.(or Ms) dmid, perhaps he/she is an incredibly astute analyst who senses something we don't know...

Three years ago a guy told me that SPX was at its low when it was down at 670. I didn't even listen to him, considered him a jerk and waited patiently for SPX to go down to 630 or some level like that. I woke up when SPX was 20% higher...

Anyhow, for fun, I fit the chart to AAPL with an interesting result.

B waves can trade in a triangle format, looking for possible "C" wave up tomorrow...then we could get a possible correction that lasts to next week...we will see...

VIX looks like trading in a triangle, which have worked out for me in the past.. we will see if target is met....

I am not impressed.

That being said, Gold is holding up much better than the broader market during that little move.

SPX: EW wise with a completed fiver up it is now reasonable to expect a corrective pullback

How far down ?

The initial projection of a potential DZZ has a target range = 1414-1412, which might be too shallow.

The next target is at the previous wave (4) = 1409
