Found this old chart, was surprised to see that SPX bounced near the weekly MA 75 yesterday. Two scenarios likely: either a clean bounce or otherwise a slightly lower low in the the next two weeks. The dip in 2011 broke the MA at a first go. Of course this could happen tomorrow - it's a weekly chart - but so far I'm not in the bearish camp.

USO superb bullish engulfing bar.

Q. is, will it be able to hold the top 1/2--1/3 of it's range? A break back below 31 would suggest not, and the weakness in XOM may be a clue...

SPX .*inverted hammer/*gravestone on the hourly last hour.. testing bear flag edge.. .5m VIX still a tad weak tho
