The QQQ is doing something I've never seen before. It has been deeply oversold on the 1 min 4 times today. It has only been overbought 1 time, yet the index is still up on the day.

QQQ is good example. Approaches "wedgie" trendline resistance and backs off. In the middle of a daily channel. Guess you just have to trade the trendlines until it doesn't work any more.

BPs look ok - except BPFINA, which is down 6 percent. Is that oil related? Banks and financial institutions might lose money on their loans to the oil/shale industry.

Cutting rates to fight deflation has worked wonderfully for the Japanese, in fact we learned a couple of weeks ago that Paul Krugman had been personally advising them. I sure hope they follow through because I would love to have a summer place in the Gulf Islands, or at least one of those glass condos in Vancouver, for about 35% of the current price.

Sarcasm aside yes other central banks will be joining the race to the bottom as they play beggar thy neighbor with currency devaluation. They really have no choice in the matter.

Disappointment. Would have really loved to have seen close above 110.Will grudgingly take another 1/4 here. Hold 1/2 position overnight. Holding into this ecb thing feels like holding into earnings.

going to have to eject all under 108— that's about Uempel's 32 on the 60, daily MA 5, and 38% fib on the 60. Truth be told below 109 will start making me start wetting my pants.

Notice on daily our inability to break dotted downtrend line, the 20, or even close above solid horizontal blue line. Still targeting horizontal brown line approx 112.65. R/R ain't as pretty as yesterday, but it is what it is.

Unpleasant.
