it's in the main side, at the bottom.

Cobra, for those w/ an Ad Blocker add-on for Firefox, can you provide a url for Amazon click-through?

Thanks again for all your tireless & selfless work in providing this awesome blog site. I've tried some other for-fee sites and your analysis and information is far superior. I'll gladly consider paying to access this site... or continue using the Amazon link :D

commissions to play options with that amount of money is probably taking a deep cut of your profits no? should consider either using a reasonable paper account, using a larger principal base, or consider another instrument that takes less of a toll in terms of commissions. i trade an average of 20-50 contracts, and i find the commissions have taken close to 25% of my profits YTD.

just something for you to think about.

Good trade. I am in a similar boat in a different market - to my last few trades. So every penny I make I save it. And I am extra careful. That is the way to do it. Slow and steady.

Yes, it does eat A LOT of profits, but it's the only way I'm gonna make some money back, because I'm not putting any more of my hard-saved money down the gutter. I lost most of my capital last week, I will try to make it back... if I can't, that's all I'll lose.

pady, let's climb out of this hole together, man!

You reminded me well, I added astore links so that those who have ad blocker won't be affected. thanks again.

wavy: thanks for that LIVE VIEW.
Here is my “note to self” after studying last night’s stockcharts.com
Another “little” discrepancy between ETFs and reality. Re: $DAX versus EWG
Note that Germany brokeout of the 15 Aug high (pink arrows). Yesterday $DAX held that breakout (and so did the futures as of yesterday’s close); EWG did not.
Note the higher low on $DAX in early October (dotted green lines), which signaled the start of the rally, while EWG sported an almost triple bottom.
There are other discrepancies…. Al: remember to check your base index and the futures, before u trade the ETFs

Previous 3 days of SPY looks like an island top to me with a huge gap up, flat, then huge gap down with downward confirmation. Short term reversal of bullish uptrend, possibly long term. Lots of bulls trapped on that island.

The pullback to 122.61 was only 38.2% of 121.52-123.4. That is disappointing for the bears. If there was strength, they would have gone down to 50-78%. We might still have a lower low but that might be it ???
