A simple review of the facts: Teabaggers named themselves. It was the name they chose for themselves, then later when they realized how stupid they were they changed it to "tea party".

They have even printed up shirts and buttons that read: "Proud to be a tea bagger."

They went on tv and said the were going to "tea bag" Obama and "tea bag" the white house.

So we know that was their originally chosen name. This is a fact. This is not in dispute.

Now, is it an insult to call something by it's originally chosen name? Let's see….

Brooklyn Dodgers shirts are big sellers to this day. Is that an insult?

Is it an insult to call Muhammad Ali Cassius Clay?

I see NY Giants hats I often. Is that a slur? To call these teams by their originally chosen name is a slur?

If Romney ever wants to go back to Willard, will it be an insult to call him "Mitt"?

You hear plenty of plays on the words democrat, conservative, liberal, republican, and though they are annoying, they don't reach to the level of racial slurs no matter what your political affiliation. Check out IWM on the daily. The way I see it we have experienced a major breakout from a down trend. You can see the bullishness that ensued the last time a trend line like that was broken.
