Does anyone else see a bullish wedge on the 5 minute? I don't have a read on direction anymore

was this the extent of Apple's run? 5 waves for A usually portend more up....but was that the paltry C wave we got??

messy 5m. triangle? bull flag?.. top of green channel? if we pop up.

Yesterday $VIX closed back below the upper BB. If red close for $VIX today then the $VIX sell/equity buy signal will trigger so 2.5 hours left for bears to sell hard and reverse the $VIX price to close green. I hold net long positions as I don't think it will happen and my 15 and 30 minute charts are still looking good.

agree very tricky structure, now it looks like wedge breakout (?wave 1 of c?)and retest (?wave 2?)...hard to say we will find out soon

5 min. TSI on XIV is now < 1, below zero for bears to go to the bank not now but close.

there was a reversal date for GLD on Feb 25-26, the next reversal is Mar 4-5 with a big range day...

Hmm...looking at possible buy the dip trendlines..

yes, now TSI confirmed sell. need to see new low, if so 15 is the ultimate target. as posted earlier dip will be bought I will have to be careful there on my short on XIV.

I feel a bit more confident then. I hedged my XIV long last night and sold the VXX in the morning. According to someone who's name I forget who did a study the VXX / VIX ratio to go long XIV is 1.11. I found that the 100ma cross on the 15min works well too visually.[/quote]

Sorry, it's VXV/VIX. Typo, your chart will be much different now I assure you. My notes show that the guy used a VIX/VXX ratio of .9 originally and then changed it to .917 after some backtesting. I just inverse it to VXV/VIX because it makes my chart easier to read and that change would make the number 1.09. It's a small but I'm sure important change.[/quote]

According to my chart the last time VXV / VIX up crossed 1.09 was on Feb 5th and down crossed on the 20th: interesting thanks
