Here’s a different view, on simple overlay; four days only, top panel.
Is this better? Let me know if anyone checks relative strength. If so, I’ll continue posting periodic updates.

And there's another aspect to it: most guys who make a killing should stay away from trading for a few months or even years. Very few big boys manage to pull off several good trades successively. Soros is one of those exceptions...

any speculation as to why soros is one of the exceptions? thanks

I guess it's because he's not in a hurry, because he can wait, wait, wait.

Looks like he is comfortable in his own skin, enjoying life. Doesn't look tense at all. Arrives for an interview with the FT in some mini-car driven by a chauffeur. Laughs, drinks - but is also incredibly wise/savvy/hard working/tough.

Jim Rogers used to work for him and is full of praise (check out Investement Biker).

If I look at very recent pictures of Paulson: poor guy, many sleepless nights I don't envy him.

May be you can forget inventories, but a bad retail sales... can deep this... (hopefully)

The analog is still moving along...now got a higher low....need to see a bounce here of some kind...can be small to keep in line...don't trade off of this, but just very interesting to keep an eye on it...whenever VIX heads towards this support, the chances of a pullback become greater...
