What I found most “telling” was yr use of slope(10) as XLNT positive/negative divergence signal
I use discretionary/staples ratio weekly for longer term trend (I think it is pretty common ratio, nothing new here)…. keeps me in “major” trend, and doesn’t shake me out in whipsaws…. didn’t occur 2 me to apply it daily…..

2 days ago, the heavy selling started at 12:00 EST. Today selling started at 12:00. We live in cycles.

If we get a back test of 1120 and then consolidate, it's definitely good for the bulls.

boo...bulls failing me again! but going to hold on because bulls don't need much to rev their engines...obviously.

Cobra and every one, is it still true that Fri NFP day may be a pivot day? How much is it likely that Bulls can live up to Friday with no problem?

Cobra you should have someone write a little php script that would be linked from the blog home page, and it would automatically redirect to the latest intraday thread.

NFP still could be the pivot day, especially red NFP.

As for can bulls live up to Friday? I don't know.

its probably 10 lines of code. not really a program. and sure beats posting the link manually 5 days a week.

One piece of evidence against my view that yesterday's low is a key low. TED spread has not topped and is starting to dip a toe into danger territory.
