Another guy I love is Paul Goodwin at Cabot’s. His specialty is China/Emerging single stocks.
He first came to my attention when Hulbert ranked him #1 in 2007 the year of the China bubble, and then #1 in 2008 the year of the China crash. FOLKS THAT IS A VERY DIFFICULT THING TO ACCOMPLISH, number one on the way up AND number one on the way down too, oy !!!
I subscribed for years. He introduced me to BIDU early on, as well as a few other lovely Emerging Market single stocks.
He showed me the value of $HXC Halter as a China measure, and the 25/50ma on the dailies and many other things.
I let my subscription expire this year, but still check his infrequent free commentary here.
