so far a typical 3 push up with the last failed push up attempt. critical here. breakout below would be Double Top.

Shorted some SPY to start layering a hedge.
While technicals look fine to me, I am suspicious.
Starting to hedge now is in case of a December 2007 scenario.
That year, there was a high early in the month, followed by a decline, followed by a rapid rise only to roll over and start declining the last three days of the year.
So far, this month is kind of similar to that. So, I am OK leaving some potential gain on the table and strolling to the side lines.

….but what can change the outcome, is a touch of bullish engineering, during the last 23 minutes of the trading day, like THEY did last Friday!

If we look back to Nov 8-9 SPX this is a tripple top within a couple of points.Dose not look good.
