Hi all.

New to the board. Here is what my 'crackpot' plan is for the immediate future.

I have been experimenting with the idea of astrological trading (i know iknow ... )

I am planning to get back into the market (I sold last Thursday at the Quarter Moon) this Thursday
which is the Full Moon. Then I plan to sell on the close of the 22nd (right before the new moon).

Then I plan to be super-cautious and possibly stay out of the market for the rest of the year (as Jupiter
leaves its Taurus position), getting back in sometime around August of 2014. (However, if I see really good
technicals next month, like a good breakout over Dow 13,000, I may get back in for a couple more months ...)

Feel free to laugh and poke fun at me !! :o

BTW, congrats to all who predicted the big bounce today, especially TraderGirl, who, I noticed, pointed out the huge p-bars on SPY after hours yesterday!

I still hold my view that the last hurrah will take place between the full moon this Thursday and the next new moon two weeks later. (Of course PPT will try their best to keep the market propped up -- especially, if, as I suspect [not to mix in politiccs but] TPTB want O for another term.)

I have been following this board for a while and I have to confess that I was one of those bears who got badly burned in October. Nice to be on board finally. :D
Thanks snake, I started following astro's when I lost a bunch of money as well....learned that a few financial astrologers had called a top at that time, and had I known about it, I would not have been down so much. So I started following so that I wouldn't' get caught in the same situation. Tomorrow is a turn date, so although I had thought we would get a positive day tomorrow, I am not quite sure about that now, so if we are down, look to Friday as a possible turn date as well...

today is so boring. except the 11:00 rally which i missed, there is nothing to do. i guess it is not uncommon for a day after mdd. hope market will be more tradeable soon.

Still short. To soon to judge if sell-off was one day affair. Nothing else to say.

We're not home yet bulls, 1355 is very important and we have to break it decisively. I would prefer 1358 to be considered decisively.

You are right btran, 1355 is very long term resistance/support zone...this could be the pullback point...IMHO

We will need conviction to break thru....

a little bit bigger picture, it's testing the resistance, not a good looking hourly bar if we close right here.

Yes if they hit the sell button for wave 5 down to complete yesterday's drop, this is the place.

thanks for the replies, im glad that bit about the solar storm is of interest.

i was also thinking i'd post about the latest copper charts.

yesterday the daily fell to hit support at the 50 day line. so i didnt see much chance of further down on copper without broad pullback or news event. i was this close to grabbing some copper/moly this morning but chickened out.

from todays open, i could see 17% upside to the 50 day line on CUM.TO.
also from todays open, 15% upside to the 50 day on ML.TO. its attractive at 1.50.

looking at the weekly copper chart, does anyone see a bull flag. its high time investors cycled into copper given the rally to date.

Closed EDC/TNA from EOD yesterday for a 3.0% & 2.9% gain respectively. Good for one month expenses. Happy trading.
