Thnks, what you'r vixies saying. I see daily VIX is strugglig to stay above 50 and same goes or XIV ; whoever hold, will be the winner by EOD; I noticed momentum is still +ve for vix but RSI is not helping being below 50

I posted this VIX chart a ways back comparing the very tight BBands squeezing to the same period back in May of 2011...we got a similar spike up in the VIX...what happened next was a bounce off of the 50dma to a lower high...

It's just an analog...don't always follow the same plan...but the similarities are interesting...

agree very tricky structure, now it looks like wedge breakout (?wave 1 of c?)and retest (?wave 2?)...hard to say we will find out soon

doesn't look good for the bears.

10 hours of [orifice] gape-age for the bears...

i'm not too short this market, just a few hedges, but i did sell some more longs yesterday to my current chagrin.
