The crocodile has snapped its jaws! Arrrr!
Again, as I mentioned yesterday, there is an outside chance of flash crash v2.0 soon... very similar dynamics to the last time it happened.
Last time, we also had a levitating act of rising up without any corrections, and then the Greek drama unfolded... day started out negative and sometime around 2pm-ish is when the riots got out of hand in Greece and the system had its seizure.
Not likely, but still possible.
This is what I'm watching today. To refresh your memories... here's what flash crash v1.0 looked like. Watch out around 2pm-ish!!!
Ok here we are... 2pm-ish!!! Let's see if the unlikely happens or not!
again this is key battlefield here, strong rebound here then game over for bears today. let's wait. I still don't believe we'll see V reversal today because the 3rd time is the charm!

The complexity of EW....I see that the high is possibly in, we did 5 waves down, and the usual slow grind broke down on that drop to 134.30. I was long for a while but exited there.
That's a possibility I wouldn't rule out, /ZB and /DX are both looking strong this morning. Personally I'm neutral at the moment, SPY is a trading range until proven otherwise

It just goes to show that no one, especially myself, should marry any analysis. It is a tool that you use to try to get an edge that you have a "net" confidence in and after that it is the trader following their rules. There are many good analysts on Wall Street who would love to trade from home, but have repeatedly failed.
I totally agreed on the complexity of elliot waves but if you get it right, oh man, you saw the entire book while everyone else is of course doing page by page. In the name of the holy Ralph Nelson Eliot, I pray.

Nothing. Why should the markets rally? All good news is priced in
Seriously considered buying some TVIX at the close yesterday but didn't pull the trigger. Congrats to those that did, especially Bulltart. Would like to get in but anytime something's +16% in a day it causes some serious pause for an entry. Then I checked it out on the daily chart and recognized it *could* have lots of upside still. Crazy volatile.

Funny I have been thinking that all bad news is priced in

where do u see it? link?
if it happens, we will see something like 1987. korea has IT for real. entire east asia is going to worry about korea's revenge.
if they really shoot IT, ... i don't want to do this if.
The goal is not uniformity. It is understanding and idea exchange.
