Thank you for this information! I am going to get my Tim Horton's coffee and then re examine this situation. I will post my chart after that.TraderGirl wrote:ADT...you see the bearish wedge? SPX sitting right around support with neg d...btw indicators suggest a big move coming...plus my charts indicate we fall at the end of the day...that sets us up for slicing through support later today/early next week...be careful on the long side here....ALdaytrade wrote:Sorry, I was not clear.Out of Bounds wrote:Long VIX?ALdaytrade wrote:Entered a long position, fast stochastics for $VIX, %K 91.64 and %D 78.35, very high???
Long $spx.
Short $vix.
I sent you a PM Mr. B...Mr. BachNut wrote:Short. Added a unit yesterday (at eumpel's Gaan grid resistance).
Still have capacity to add another unit.
My summation index signal is neutral. A strong rally today could turn it up, but end of month signals are suspect.
My composite trend indicator signal is down. Still on the mat...
Some long setups based on the summation index are coming into view.
So, I could end up with mixed signals and mixed positions in coming days (ugh).
Meanwhile, my trend signal looks bleak.
Price is down a bit but holding up OK for now.
I guess after Labor Day folks will get back to their desks and push a button to buy or sell.
I wish I had a clue...
