GDX weekly....Perhaps GDX is forming a triple zig zag down....with that strong wave down...there is a strong possibility there could be one more leg down...

GDX hourly...you can see this ascending wedge pattern is bearish...perhaps it gets up to the mid wedge line...but it's possible it falls through support at some point..in that case, it may trade all the way down to support around $16..??

We'll see...be cautious on the long side with miners...IMHO...

Side comment: What amazes me is the daily trading volumes in GDX. This is not a big industry. This must be rich soil for the algos.
