a quick answer to the question is vix is based on spx. so es strong and vix down are related.
there are other volatility products tracking other indice. i know vxn is tracking n100.

es took 1307 pivot, tested 1309 area for support and took 1313.25 globex, now the next stop seems wed high of 1318.75

bearish head & shoulders on S&P is still possible assuming 1321 isn't taken out in a big way, but that is something you'd really have to wait for the breakdown before acting on

it seems pivot is working today? market turned right at r1 of standard pivot. it will work until it's not.

nothing new, I just still couldn't believe that we're going up really huge here with TLT, AUDJPY and NQ as headwind.
