vol surge, so might be a pullback here first. looks like a rising wedge but rising wedge mostly doesn't work.

THE WORM reminds me of the Science Fiction classic “Dunne”
Speaking of which:

“If chess has any relationship to filmmaking, it would be in the way it helps you develop patience and discipline in choosing between alternatives at a time when an impulsive decision seems very attractive.”
[Stanley Kubrick. In the 1940s he would supplement his income by playing chess "for quarters" in Washington Square Park and various Manhattan chess clubs]

"Every time I get through a session with Stanley, I have to go lie down”
[Sci-Fi Master Arthur C. Clarke on Stanley Kubrick, when they collaborated on the screenplay for “2001: A Space Odyssey”]

After making a lower low yesterday, my MO is making a small higher high this morning.
Let's see where it closes and what happens next few days, but this would open upside targets and scenarios.
A natural target is my upper Keltner band, which is at 1881.7 (a whopping 10 handles from here  ) and climbing.
Once there, the index could make a top or keep pushing the band upward.

As all MO cycles pass through the zero line and the recent decline has not, yesterday could not be the end of the down cycle.
So, the downside possibilities and targets stay on the radar as the MO should stay divergent with the index over time.

Alternatively (and complicatingly), the recent MO decline may simply have been corrective (market was overbought).
If so, the most recent MO up cycle is actually still underway, and the 2/18 MO high would ultimately be topped.

Bonds (TLT) failed at double top resistance, and today’s gap down may be a tiny island reversal [??]
