When you say "correction", surely you mean the correction (and in some cases "bear" in individual stocks), right?DellGriffith wrote:im still bearish. as i charted last nite in yesterday's we only broke the first downtrend line of the correction yesterday. the lower bb breach early in the correction also says we require a lower low. nothing in my composite signal has turned bullish yet -- not even my early warning signal. even something as simple as the MACD on daily SPY has yet to make a bullish cross.

There was something that popped up yesterday and went away. Can't remember the target but it was down, it is not there today.Ed02 wrote:Mr. M, could you comment if there is a new P-Bar pointing down to ~184.18 right before close yesterday? It is shown on the OX platform, together with that PBar up to ~187.04 near the close of 4/10... Thx.
Well I guess we all have different definitions.Varaha wrote:When you say "correction", surely you mean the correction (and in some cases "bear" in individual stocks), right?DellGriffith wrote:im still bearish. as i charted last nite in yesterday's we only broke the first downtrend line of the correction yesterday. the lower bb breach early in the correction also says we require a lower low. nothing in my composite signal has turned bullish yet -- not even my early warning signal. even something as simple as the MACD on daily SPY has yet to make a bullish cross.

Hey Varaha, that's a pretty snarky comment...which was not deserved...Varaha wrote:When you say "correction", surely you mean the correction (and in some cases "bear" in individual stocks), right?DellGriffith wrote:im still bearish. as i charted last nite in yesterday's we only broke the first downtrend line of the correction yesterday. the lower bb breach early in the correction also says we require a lower low. nothing in my composite signal has turned bullish yet -- not even my early warning signal. even something as simple as the MACD on daily SPY has yet to make a bullish cross.

Yep. If we start arguing semantics, then we stifle contribution to the site. I would rather hear people contribute meaningful descriptions of what they believe is happening in the market than see people stick to strict definitions of terms. The worst is when people throw up messy charts with no description at all. Snarky, negative comments contribute nothing.TraderGirl wrote:Hey Varaha, that's a pretty snarky comment...which was not deserved...Varaha wrote:When you say "correction", surely you mean the correction (and in some cases "bear" in individual stocks), right?DellGriffith wrote:im still bearish. as i charted last nite in yesterday's we only broke the first downtrend line of the correction yesterday. the lower bb breach early in the correction also says we require a lower low. nothing in my composite signal has turned bullish yet -- not even my early warning signal. even something as simple as the MACD on daily SPY has yet to make a bullish cross.
