Cobra's Market View

Looking like I made a mistake not trusting my system and getting at least partially long SPY when it gave the buy signal. Now I'm left wondering if I should chase or wait for a pullback which may never come.

I'm probably gonna wait for one of two events:

my last buy signal to fire.
a nice pullback to load up.

Took 1/2 position XIV yesterday.
Another half may be taken later today or tomorrow. SSO Trader still in Cash

consolidation here favors bulls. I just with it could consolidate a little longer before a breakout attempt.

Odd, I had no problem getting updates yesterday afternoon and did not notice the message

SPY first 8-day high in many days. Overhead resistance band from 195.25--50 includes 20 and 50day MAs.

Quite an odd little flashcrash there in the Brazil stock market. Caused perturbation in all broad Latin Am funds, as well as EWZ and the Bovespa Index.

Red volume...

consolidation range breakdown (instead of breakout as I expected), but generally I'd expect this pullback to be bought eventually.
