--And, conversely, the vix for the Russell 2000 is at a 5day low, but IWM is not close to a 5day high. The markets are feeling for direction, amidst many crosscurrents.

Meanwhile, USO is at a 5day low, and not surprisingly the transports are very strong, near a 5day high.
