Bears are down but not totally out, looking like it doesn't want to roll over today, though

Breadth is still horrendous. A huge up day but only about 4:1 up vs down volume. Lots of short covering still and no real volume buying.

This scenario is still on the table but this morning's poke above 97.50 has all but nullified it, pending a huge drop by the close to go negative or at least below open

SPY has 3 unfilled gaps below and 1 above on the hourly and the 50day SMA right above - ditto with the nasdaq.

Well the computed high est with the LOD is 50.75 - almost exactly the current price
prb is is that it is 13.75 from 1937 so possible a good portion of the day's range IF the range is reduce due to the o/m move.
However, 50.50 is my breakout price for today and rules say that if it exceeds it no shorting.

with the pomo today I guess its back to bed.
