We have all been waiting for the sub-prime auto cycle to run out of buyers so maybe this is the moment.

It's the twilight zone. They said this was a one time pop and it won't be repeated. They also said big cash drain coming from rolling out video. So once again a headline number pop followed by humans reading and thinking then down it goes back to where it was. Occasionally I get it, but dozens of times every earnings season there must be a good way to game this (and still get some sleep). I think last season OOB said he gets positions put on in both directions pre-release. But I didn't understand how he made it work.

I don't do it on earnings. I do it on big announcements, like fed days. I go short and long (use ETFs or options) and put in tight orders to sell at a profit. When the market gyrates, both orders should execute.

I'm so tired today.

We went out to get lobsters last night. 5 people in a boat for 4 hours and we only got 1 lobster.
I had a small shark circle me and got a bit nervous. I thought he was going to bite.

imho don't trust something that's not tangible.. yes we got this many "clicks, likes, views, etc" but we can code it to automatically refresh pages, play videos, troll for clicks, etc… like Youtube recently, more ads, automatic playing of youtube videos, etc."increases" viewer numbers  ... like Mac OSX automatically refreshes safari each time you hit the tab on the iPhone, iPad = increase numbers of "sites" getting hit with OSX.. … "so there must be more OSX viewers" "Enron" comes to mind.. with the social, internet ad business.. but hey that's me.

Car parts are so expensive these days the do it yourselfers are starting to order on the internet for big savings over the local NAPA. Talking $200 or more stuff where the discount pays for expensive freight.
