CHK cutting nat gas production in 2012. Maybe it will help to create a bottom in natural gas?

Classic squeeze sticks on 5min spy
We are on candlestick #8, I’ve rarely/scarcely see a squeeze sustain more than 9 candles…..but…but...but...

I first draw it in order to have an idea of the first resistance/ support level (not really accurate for penny intraday trading but right for short term trading).
Yesterday it gave a support at around 97-97.50...
Night session gave a low at 97.40, so I redrew this morning to have my updated forks. I am using them with channels on 30 min basis and fibo on 1 min basis.
I will keep them till they are not accurate anymore.
This is a really personal use of forks, so... :):):):):)

Attention short sellers...let this puppy exhaust itself. Cobra's mall analogy over the weekend really got me thinking about the failures I have experienced. Although generally successfull, too often I have thought I could grab that front stall in the busy mall parking lot. I think we get a back test of 1318ish, but then back up we push to 1340 like Demark has predicted. I can't remember the bullish herd getting slaughtered too often recently with all of this liquidity in the market place. However, bulls you are now outside of the BB on the Dow use stops. GLTA.

First Day: The first day of the festival is an occasion for honoring the elders and welcoming the deities. The Chinese visit the elders in their family and pay their respects to them. Some people also abstain from eating meat on this day.

Second Day (Kainian): The second day is the birthday of the Chinese God of Wealth. It is also a day for married daughters to visit their parents' and relatives' houses. It is also believed to be the birthday of all dogs and they are, therefore, treated with special foods on this occasion.

Third Day (Chikou/Chigau): This day is considered to be the day of the God of Blazing Wrath. It is traditionally believed to be an inauspicious day. Chinese believe they should not visit friends and relatives on this day. Instead, they visit the Temple of Wealth and have their futures told.

hmmm wed is day of blazing wrath?

More weekend notes, bull and bear:
The Offensive/Defensive Ratio broke out above its downtrend line Friday. It is an intermediate-trend tool for “Trend Followers.”
(The Stock/Bond Ratio already went bull-spy a while back)
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=XLY:XL ... listNum=15

If you look at these volume measures, and see the green/up volume and red/down volume as just pure color blocks, compare the difference between the volume color pattern now, vs the color pattern that drove the mkt to the highs in October
(see blue box outlines…and SPY is the brown line behind the top panel).
[This is not TA, it’s just color/pattern recognition]

PS: champ, got it, thanks much

Check it.

Mouth watering NegD on the Vix daily could be setting up here.

Plus we closed out of the BB bands the last session. If we close back in the BB bands this session, a short term VIX bottom could be in the works.

Look at what happened on the last NegD. Booyaka!

Just sayin'.

A little chart I love...
In Europe, everybody is convinced that US QE and QE2 was unfair, that bond purchasing is "too easy", not good for economy... whatever, the FED and the USA are really playing with atomic monetary weapon !
Now, if we look at the ECB bond purchase, what do we see... hoho, 200 Billions EUR (270 B USD), but it is not as a US QE, not at all...
