The 3rd touch, breakout is more likely. More often the 3rd touch breakout would be false, usually the 4th touch breakout would be for real.

I think they are using eggs' price to push the market up or down. You should not posted the price egg $10 VS $4 a year ago. I sold half of my longs position yesterday and I add more when it goes down.

eggs have been my best investment of late.
I like Semiconductors and $Nasdaq 100 tech. Everything is getting to the top. This market needs to go sideway ( Dec 16-Jan 6th) for a while or pull back to go higher.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck ... Yes, we have a breakout. But it is a doji, so far today. If it keeps going, the next target is the high of December 13.

The price of eggs surged 59.9% on the year in December, up from 49% in November, according to the most government data. That means a carton of Grade A large eggs on average more than doubled in cost with prices reaching $4.25 in December 2022, compared to $1.79 a year earlier. In some parts of the country, consumers could pay up to $8 for a carton of organic eggs.
Avian flu, which has forced millions of chickens to be culled and caused a shortage of eggs, is the main reason behind the price increase. In a change from previous breakouts that faded as summer ended, this time the avian flu lingered into winter.
I used to like sunnyside up eggs for breakfast. Dip the toast in the eggs. Now it seems kind of disgusting. Ha ha.
Butter
Butter prices rose by 31.4% on the year in December, up from 27% in November, making the average price for a pound of butter $4.81 nationally. It was $3.47 a year earlier.
Extreme heat and smaller cow herds are the main reasons behind that, experts told MarketWatch. Cows eat less and produce less milk in the heat, and the cost of maintaining milk production skyrocketed last year, making farmers unwilling to expand their herds.
Vegetable oil and margarine
Margarine, which is largely made of vegetable oil, is also seeing a huge price increase. The price of margarine, the substitute for butter in the old days, rose by 43.8 % in December, down slightly from 47.4% in November compared to a year before.

$CRB is going up from 263 to 271 , $COPPER is going up ($4.17). Market needs to pull back or go sideway for a while. Stockmarket might go up in boring in a range day like October, Dec, then pushing high till April, 2023 in my opinion. Anytime the market went up so fast, then it had a big drop. I don't think we see below Oct 2022, sometimes soon till Summer-Fall 2023, Fiscal year. I hope we stay range days, it is easier to trade. Market is too high now in my opinion. Only Day trading pays off.
Don't forget Average person got raises. It affects supply and Demand if everyone can afford to buy everything, then stores can't keep up supplies, the price goes higher due to demands. Bear Market has three stages.
Note the green dots that have gotten bigger in the green box.
Note that there has been decreasing supply since Sept.
I'm holding.
Pull back does seem needed but we all know that the market can keep going up regardless of what makes sense with TA!

We actually share our weekly egg. We carefully broil it in water (cant afford the butter) until it just starts to harden and then we carefully cut it into 4 pieces... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ue7wM0QC5LE&t=6s
My comments were dictated to me by homie the clown
Egg Joke was not to intended to hurt anyone. We are dealing with Birds Flu, this is the reason that price is supper high compare to other commodities price increased. Good Luck with eggs, just don't put them in one basket.
Emerging market is going up.
"Sell in May and go away" changed to Sell in April and go away,
At one time, Warren Buffett made a joke about airlines. He said he had one guy on staff whose only job was to prevent Buffett from investing in any airlines. I tend to feel the same way. Although at times some airlines stocks have shown good value.
BA, supplier to airlines, has been an amazingly frequent leader or laggard on the Dow 30 Summary on StockCharts.
Helluva good ride since November. For a stock losing money. Don't stock market players care about profits anymore? Ha ha.
