I don't like the concept of shorting, but I've played TZA before. I'll play TZA if we go too high. IMO, shorting NFLX is high risk. Good luck

Anyone else like the looks of both gold and silver? Looks like bull flags in the forming on the daily of both. Maybe a kiss of the trendline / EMA 20 / fib level (all in the same general level) and then continue higher?

You've seen the QNX operating system? Is that in their Playbook?
I have the BlackBerry 9700, which is approx 4 years old. It's suppose to be replaced by the 9900, but I like the 9790, which is sold only by Cincinnati Bell. As a Chicago-area resident, I can't sign up. The BlackBerry 10-based phone is a touchscreen, which I don't like. The manual keyboard will come out later. IMO, I do not like what they're doing. The lousy US economy isn't helping anyone's sales.

[quote="L_T"]Slightly singed bear here (bear for only as long as overbought conditions last) Dang things can stay overbought/sold longer than I can stay solvent. Beat down SREV giving a little pop here. Will probably close out silver short for a few hoppers this afternoon expiration. CCUR still has more volatility than normal, up and down. Video software platform buy out rumored, rumors are dangerous for traders though. GLTA

Cool, thanks. Currently, I have no need for tablets, but if I go back to truck driving, I like Google's Nexus 7 for $200. It has a quad-core processor intended for gaming.

Petsamo you follow POT right? Here is a chart for you. I see the gap fill being rejected twice now and it looks like it wants to re-test the recent low.

If I were Cramer this is where I would run around like a mad man with noise makers screaming, "Don't buy don't buy!!!"

Don't let that chart fool you. POT's rally was not as strong as MOO or MOS. I wouldn't be surprised if POT continued the rally, and not drop.

I don’t have a sell signal yet on the vixies
But I use the ribbons just to eyeball direction, not for signals
Harapa has the best buy/sell signal setup
And it hasn’t confirmed a sell yet
But his signals are NOT for intraday scalping…….. they try to hold trend a bit longer
Watch for the next harapa post
Here is another way of looking at the MA ribbons (top panel, all 10ma)

Fed's Fisher dubious about easing policy

By Greg Robb

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - The Federal Reserve should end its aggressive easing campaign, said Richard Fisher, the president of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank, on Tuesday. In remarks to reporters after a speech in Berlin, Fisher said the Fed's Operation Twist program should be allowed to expire on schedule next month. Under Twist, the Fed sells short-term securities and uses the proceeds to buy longer-term securities. "I question its efficacy," Fisher said, according to the Wall Street Journal. The Fed will meet on Dec. 11 and 12 and is generally expected by analysts to replace Twist with outright Treasury purchases. Fisher also said the Fed should also end its $40 billion per-month purchases of mortgage-backed securities, known as quantitative easing, or QE3. "My personal view is we don't need to do more," he said. The Fed's QE3 plan is open-ended with the central bankers saying it will continue the purchases until there is substantial improvement in the labor market. The central bank should consider setting limits to the size of its balance sheet, currently at $2.873 trillion, he said.
We gotta few earth folks down here in the pea patch that are still sane.
