The more I use it the more I'm convinced of its reliability. It gets quirky at the end of a log run but with normal fluctuations it can be uncanny.

At this point...it looks like this was not an ABC wave up...looks like we are getting a 5rh wave up...cannot tell how long that will last, but I have a turn on march 1st and the 7th...I wonder if one of them will signify a turn of some kind.. My charts were indicating a low of some kind early March...but it seems I got an inversion, so we could see a high of some kind early March instead...

Last Friday we got to a resistance point and we began to break out in the last few minutes of trading so the possibility we would be up today was strong.

This week could be volatile with the Italian elections tonight and sequester issues...I have two turns this week, Tues and Thurs...it's possible we see some kind of low on the 27th and then turn back up on the 28th...that is what my weekly chart says....but it looks like the direction is up for now with volatility...

Dollar doesn't always trade hand in hand with market...had a breakout no negativity yet....
I didn't trade what I saw :( But atleast I reduced my short position before close.
Good for you we were breaking out....

Long.
Hedges were stopped out Friday for pocket money.
Left a bunch on the table as I loosened stops twice to give SPX time to turn and retest low.
Looking to reload.

My composite trend indicator signal is up but flashing an alert for a potential trend change ahead.
My summation index signal is down. While the McClellan Oscillator was oversold Thursday, it should be back to neutral this morning judging by the Open.
Often a corrective MO move ends near the zero line, but with the Dow making new highs, it is hard to call this corrective, which makes me hesitant to short the MO rebound.

I'll probably do nothing today.
SKEW is suggesting a correction is still incubating (last Wednesday/Thursday may not have been it).
Most of the move up came on light volume or in over night futures. So, I would like to see some more trading data.
Perhaps Cobra or one of you guys can give me the clue on a good spot to re-hedge... :P
Given how bullish things have been, I won't be going net short until I get a change in trend signal.

Last week I had posted it's possible we get a higher high on Dow because the retrace was strong and the pullback was shallow....

volume surge, biggest bar on EMA20, might see rebound here first. then we'll see.

TG many of your posts are contradictory. Placing each way bet doesn't work in trading.

I generally find her post to be clear and unwavering. She states her expectations better than most IMO.

The problem is that my charts appear to have a potential inversion and I am still attempting to decipher....last week I was short...but when both SPX Dow hit support and held I sold out to see if my charts were inverting...

I do not have contradictory bets...this week there looks to be volatility as I said...and a potential low of some kind on the 27th...

Structure is hardly impulsive so watching possible irregular pattern

Same with ES, leg up looks corrective (but so far wait and see mode only)

Euro is on the money
So far so good :) now 1515-1511 have to hold for this plan otherwise down we go and euro is no looking so sexy anymore so out for +100p
My satisfaction always came from beating the market, solving the puzzle. The money was the reward, but it was not the main reason I loved the market (Jess Livermore)

small caps weren't very excite this morning.

EUR aka USD, oil, small caps and the S&P can all support the bearish case.

DJI and TLT can support the bullish case.

VIX is somewhat neutral, but currently painting a pretty bullish reversal (but is subject to change quickly).

Boehner announces conference call on sequester at 4PM.

He's only going to blame POTUS. There will be no offers at this presser, there will be no olive branch.

My take is that the rubber meets the road on the CR to fund gov't expiring March 27. All this other stuff is posturing for that confrontation.
