Thanks so much TG your time shared TA is great. I shorted the second run up to 154.80 yesterday and thought had a good entry. I'm expecting a test of 153.15ish and a break below the gap things get nasty. But don't expect it. "Thought I did not expect" this morning POP either!

How do you interpret the chart??

On a tight leash.

My composite trend indicator signal is turning up but not quite there.
My summation index signal goes to up provided indexes top yesterday's highs.

The slower components of my signals have been so slow to turn relative to price, I remain suspect of this rally.
In the internet chatter I am seeing dissonant reactions to what is unfolding.
I'll be cautious until things clear up a bit.

AAPL LOD lo on day
Some “smarty pants” last night on the net reminded us of the obvious: that these historic highs were accomplished without the participation of the AAPL.

Ribbons: volatility traders were shorting again at the open (as u know: usually, not always, SPY follows)
BUT THAT IS NOW TURNING UP A BIT
Inverted TRIN: plunged (with the SPY open) and is now turning up a smidge (flag)
These both are honey-badgers that change quickly as they are tuned to quickie scalper settings
Best used in conjunction with other indicators
(like nyadv only 1600 but climbing)

Is 4m ChiOsc the top???
I have 5m as extreme extreme there, open up 60min and see comparison to week of Sept 10-ish last yr (pretty dang close to that !!!)

Gap up within yesterday's high so the gap might be filled.

Could be 3 Push Up or H&S Top in the forming on the Global ES, so bears may finally see some hopes, from below 50% to now 50%.

In the past 5 years ChiOsc has been higher 4 times with the max around $8.18m Jan 26, 2012. Downturns have followed 3 of the 4 times. I'm in on DUST as of a couple minutes ago (NOT A RECOMMENDATION FOR ANYONE) but the combination of crazy low $BPGDM and Cobra's sage words of wisdom of the past "High ChiOsc is meaningless at the beginning of a trend change" or something of that affect are in the back of my keeper <See Feb '10>
