Russia and China. Though China stopped reporting gold purchases and it is believed they have been stockpiling even more heavily than Russia. There is a currency war going on, and gold is a very big part of that game.Tabby wrote:Out of criosity, who are the nations that you are refereing to as stockpiling gold?stlwater wrote:I haven't logged a lot of posts since I joined in 2011 since the rally got underway. I want to point out something that, so far, nobody seems to be talking about in gold. The chart should speak for itself and I've attached it below. Please let me know how it strikes you. I've attached another chart which should give you that splash of cold water that is so needed right now in both the market and in gold.
P.S. There are far too many cat people around here...
No need to rush to bottom fish. When Gold gets above 20day EMA, everybody and the bots will pile in and have a nice bottoming bounce. Until then you are going to lose money and time bottoming fishing. Take the easy road, wait for that price confirmation.stlwater wrote:Russia and China. Ratio of SPHB (High Beta) to SPLV (low volatility), a measure of investor's appetite for high risk assets.
Ratio with a declining trend while market makes a new all time high warrants some caution.

I’m sure you’ll link us to this and other uncredited (borrowed) charts when the market turns.
Don’t bother replying.
