Thanks. I don't do futures, I haven't figured that out yet. Just my own flavor of technical analysis gleaned from reading several texts. Trade management is strict fixed percent (1%, 0.5%, or 0.2%) balance at risk depending on how I think the odds stack up. I generally hold overnight or for a few days. Would like to catch, and have to discipline to hold, and intermediate term trade one of these fine days! Every morning I check out this site to see what the overnight action has been, but I've never traded using their concept.waverider wrote:Nice work, looks like a megaphone on /ES, but bears need a breakdown still.rhight wrote:How I structured a trade today. I've been plinking on the short side and have been able to capture 50 pts. since 12/5. Since this may also be a short term double bottom, I limited my risk to $200 with a tight stop and entry, but was still able to get 500 shares SDS in case there is a decent break to the downside.

Of course if we break this, we could get some more bear porn tomorrow..... but im not here to gamble.....
/ES tracks quite similar to SPY, I like being able to see the overnight market. That's a good strategy, swinging is a much better strategy than attempting to scalp.rhight wrote:Thanks. TWO week santa rally starting tomorrow. Cover your short. One last flush today to 1190 - 1198 would be nice. We'll see. IMOMe XMan wrote:Santa got a flat and called in sick today and tomorrow![]()
