The latest consumer credit numbers were just released. During December consumer credit spiked to $19.3 billion, which is far greater than the $8.5 billion that had been expected, on average, among economists polled by Briefing.com.Cobra wrote:all of sudden a renewed strength, what the news?

Remember doooood:
I couldn’t find a top if it was just me and Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzig Norgay shootin’ the breeze up there in oxygen masks.
I couldn’t find a bottom if I was strapped to a donkey headed down the Bright Angel Trail of the Grand Canyon.

Again a reminder that the HFT program guy is often online (but usually not Wednesdays) commenting on what is taking place with the machines.

There is no advertising for his program (expensive) or service. These are on StockTwits at no cost and no discussion takes place.

MARKET UPDATE!!!! IT IS UP! STAY TUNED!
Don't worry too much about HFT/Algos. This market is so predictable.SWalsh wrote:I'd say this is hindsight, but I did write about this last week. Was this a virtual 100% day trade? I covered shorts I came in with but did not go long.
When the mkt had broken a TL and the HFT/Algos hit it back up in the next few bars, my observation has been it does not go lower again that day. It also stopped at a 38% retracement and had wave C=A going for it. What was in question at the time was if what is labeled as a B wave was an overlapping conclusion of a wave so, IMO, buying a rally with a stop at a new low was the only play and not picking that bottom:
Yes, you can have two charts of different symbols on the same page. Once you have your two windows set up, click on the the actual stock symbol, put the symbol you want and check this box for "this chart only"jarbo456 wrote:Al_Dente wrote:PAGE JARBO
U have any tricks 4 me on freestk?
I want to add a stock symbol/chart UNDERNEATH my top chart (underneath where we usually put volume, rsi, etc)
NOT >price history >add indicators on top
Above that, next to symbol the >add indicator won't let me (?) add a symbol so I can get a chart UNDERNEATH MY TOP CHART
(forget “comparisons” that’s another story)
Any brill ideas?
so you want two charts of different symbols in the same tab, one underneath the other?
i got no magic for you man...don't know if you can do that on freestockcharts
I see, thanks.fehro wrote:The latest consumer credit numbers were just released. Yeah, agree, no fight here. Let's concentrate on the market. who's right who's wrong, doesn't matter, in the end you account tells everything.springheel_jack wrote: Cobra wants us all to be nice and he's right as the focus should be on markets. we all know the market will have to pullback but now I simply don't see the pattern or some extremely extreme signals so still the cliche, don't front run.rocket wrote:Cobra, attached is your Market Outlook from 10/28/2011. In this chart, the interesting thing is that whenever Eurozone rescue plans were announced market tanked afterwards. I know we only have 2 instances and not much statistical analysis to do on it. But maybe market is waiting the news headline from Greece. And whatever it is market will trun south after that.
