The FED may lower the Discount rate -- they should, anyway. When the FED lowered the Euro Dollar swap rate down to 1/2 point, they in effect, are lending US dollars (and printing money) at a 1/4 point less than what US banks can borrow at from the FED through the Discount window.

If I was a US bank with 28 lobbyists per congressman at my disposal, thats what I would be making calls about.

(not that the FED operates separately from politics.)

Yeah, Zero Hedge twittered about a crazy 10 year auction. I'm guessing that had something to do with it. BUT, vix dropped as well.

well, something's going on, now the bond rises sharply and all the other assets are agree on the downside now.

the chart looks like want to go up because it's an ascending triangle I see. I just don't understand why the other assets are so bearish. :roll:
