It looks to me that every move today has been a computer.
That computer has to be programmed by a human chief
Not sure of what you are saying. If the public enters no orders the ONLY activity you will see is the HFTs fluttering bids and offers to try to get the slower computers to trade. That the mkt has emotion (fear and greed) with a computer is thought by some. It is extremely fallacious. (EDIT: The public is gone from this market and they are not coming back anytime soon...seen it before....it happens) The point is to design systems without those and these PhD programmers have built systems that act on price and often for 25/1000 of a second in-and-out. They just throw a switch on.

hmm breakout on the upside instead of downside. but the breakout is not strong enough and already 2 legged, so still not very bad for bears yet. let's be patient.

In yr estimation, would it be 1) easy 2) hard 3) near impossible for Europe to replace that potentially-lost oil from alternative supplier(s)?
PS: I knew u were the right guy/gal for the job…..
VERY VALUABLE INFO bs alert and link is much appreciated
PAGING UEMPEL we are alert 13:50, bolinger on 5m affirms impending move
Don’t know if internals will help/hinder... http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=SPY&p= ... listNum=15

To either of you:
Could you elaborate as to what you expect to happen? Sorry, I am having difficulty with your chart.
Well, it's a close up of an ellipse and the vertical signals a strong move. When SPX moves out of a system it tends to find new equilibrium, to form a new system. Doesn't work always, but in general it does.

NO..I do some of them..I had to get a new knee so that limits what I do..There is one trader who is but I forgot who he is..The last I heard he was going to do the Iron Man.[/quote]
Yeah, the impact of running nearly always leads to overuse injuries. Did you injure it weightlifting or running? I did a couple of duathlons and ran track/cross country in high school/college. Runners who never get injured are rare and fortunate.

I don't have much time now - just quick: if you have found an ellipse the most important lines are the vertical horizontal centerlines. But also the left and right vertical border and the top and bottom horizontal borders are signals - for reversals or breakouts. Ok? I'm gone now.

Hmm...in EW terms all the sideways stuff was a corrective wave B and this move up "might" be wave C of a complex correction. We'd need new lows by the end of the day to have that as probable.

My comments are for entertainment/educational purpose only. NOT a trade advice.
